The Nest is an independently owned Café & Bar in the heart of Barnes. Our founders Kathryn and George met when working alongside each other in hospitality and share a passion for eating, drinking and all that goes with it. They wanted to create a space for customers and employees to enjoy together, where food is for sharing and service ALWAYS comes with a smile. Taking inspiration from around the world, we are incorporating locally sourced and seasonal ingredients into our daily changing menu. Whether you’ve got a sweet tooth, an appetite for spice, a yearning for a Cappuccino or a deep desire for Cocktails, The Nest is sure to have something for everyone.

Delicious food, great, friendly service, lovely atmosphere - and the live music was an added bonus. Definitely would recommend The Nest.

This was our fourth visit to The Nest and it was once again terrific. It was Sunday lunchtime and our group ate a variety of mains -- breakfasts savoury and sweet, as well as some sandwiches -- one chicken, one hake. Fresh, real food with well-balanced inventive flavour touches. It was busy and we were glad we had a reservation. All of us will be back again.

Really lovely find. Cosy, tasty food and excellent service. Great place to be alone or meet with friends and while away a few convivial hours.

Exceptional food. The quality is first rate, the best roast dinner I've had in London. Extra compliments on the number of gluten free options available. I will 100% be back.

4 of us had a meal on Saturday night, the food was superb and we loved the sharing plates so we could sample more dishes! The portions were generous , wine list good and excellent service. Can’t wait to return!
