London’s buzzy Fitzrovia neighbourhood, the contemporary, yet warm and inviting

A vegetarian tasting menu is also available. Please note that all of our dishes are made to be shared.     Fantastic food, very tasty and well presented. Not the same for the Sancerre rouge which was off its window and not worth the price tag. Service was pleasant but sometimes a bit abrupt.

    Our visit was not without 'problems', but this was not the fault of the restaurant or staff. Seems someone had left a tap running upstairs and water flooded the first floor shortly after we finished our starters. The restaurant was evacuated but the staff were excellent & polite. Within minutes we were all back, seated in new areas and continued our lunch. Sometimes problems cannot be avoided, but it is the manner in which they are dealt with that makes the difference. Food was superb, highly recommended

    This was my second time at The Ninth and was every bit as good as I recalled from the last time. The Pain Perdu is a worthy signature dessert and from a personal perspective it's nice to see (and drink) a Zeltingen riesling on the wine list, as it's a place I've visited many times (and bought wine from).

    The food was amazing. Had a party booked for 4 for a birthday. Ordered almost everything. The menu was really good. The service was really good too. The only problem was the bill came much more than expected. We paid around 100 pounds per person which does not include drinks.
