Nestled in the heart of Melbourne’s Docklands, The Nixon Hotel is a short walk from Southern Cross Station and Marvel Stadium. The venue is divided into different spaces with a dining room serving a modern Australian pub menu and a bar/bistro area serving brewery fresh tank beer as one of 17 different brews on tap. The perfect place to meet for a quick bite to eat before catching a thrilling footy match, a casual work luncheon, or having a punt with friends. The Dining Room can offer a more secluded lunch and dinner experience for meetings, family catch ups or celebrations. We are always showing live sport across 15 screens and offer state of the art TAB facilities. My regular for Thursday night trivia - a great weekly social event, free and welcoming. Close to trams and Southern Cross and easy to get too - great staff, very friendly, always a convivial fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Excellent food - service by the girls was second to none - all where more than happy to help out - quick to bring out the food and clear plates without being intrusive Steak was excellent and pork belly and bruschetta starters where great My wife had the barramundi which was also very good and my daughter had the eggplant parmigiana which she said was very good It was a little noisy but the place was pretty busy so you have to expect that Good range of drinks and once again I have to commend them on their excellent service

Very pleasant ambiance, well set out dining area, the hotel is in a lovely area of the docklands prescient. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely on our list to return here when next in the city,

Great family friendly hotel. Generous portion sizes. Delicious gluten-free options. Clean and tidy facility. Fantastic location for events at Marvel Stadium. We will be back!

Pies lately have been outstanding. The beef brisket less so. Everyone who has had fish & chips this week thoroughly enjoyed them - cooked well, fish fresh, yummo

Service was ok however the food was terrible. Pork belly had too much soy sauce over the top and the beef brisket had no flavour and tasted like it had been heated up in a microwave.

Easy booking, great lunch specials at fab prices! Had the chicken burger which was yum, others tried fish pie and enjoyed that. Team were very friendly and attentive
