Why The North Coal? The concept was created by the feeling of being away from city life with family and friends. For us, that’s Northern Ontario, but as lucky as we are to experience that way of life, not everyone is. Our mission is to provide that feeling regardless of your surroundings.

    Our server was quite awful. She wanted to take our food order without even asking for a drink or app We had to ask to order a cocktail. Very inattentive. 1.5 hrs after our meal she asked if we wanted anything else Then we had to wait an hour for our bill which we had to ask for. Band was good. But ended before 8:30 and then it was so quiet. No background music at all. Very disappointing

    Cute little spot with amazing food and stellar ambience! Will be back. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts, you won’t be disappointed.

    This restaurant never fails to satisfy. Food is delicious, ambiance cozy, service friendly. It is a gem in a neighbourhood of many fine eating establishments. It is the place where you want to relax and enjoy with friends and family.

    The look inside makes you feel u are up north. They had campfires on tvs that added A lot. The food was incredible. Have to go back for just apps and desserts. Would recommend highly. You have to go check this place out
