Welcome to The Northumberland Arms, a beautiful Bar and AA Rosette Restaurant with six 5* luxury guest bedrooms by the River Coquet in the heart of Northumberland. Situated approximately one mile from the A1 you'll find us in the idyllic village of Felton. The Northumberland Arms was built in the 1820’s by Hugh Percy, 3rd Duke of Northumberland as a Coaching Inn and has now been fully renovated to an extremely high standard.

Another lovely meal here. Clearly they were busier due to the festive season, so service wasn't quite as swift as usual, but that's to be expected, and didn't upset our evening at all. We had a super time and can't wait to come back.

Excellent! Very good meal - main course only for 4 persons. Delicious food, very helpful and pleasant staff and really great value for money. The restaurant was full but we had booked. Very pleasant occasion

The food was good but we’d been for Sunday lunch and we had to wait for accompanying sauces meaning the food was going cold, coffee arriving without spoons, dessert spoon only and no fork. Sounds really picky but difficult getting staff attention, and not massively busy so not that excuse. Small easily correctable things would have made a huge difference and better score would have been given.

Portion sizes are extremely small, especially when taking into account the prices. Also the description on the menu may not match the reality, ie I asked for the leg of lamb, expecting a leg of lamb as per what I have had in other pubs. But what you get is two slices of lamb.

Delicious meal at the Northumberland arms, we waited 45 mins for food but definitely worth the wait and gave us time to relax and chat too. Lovely atmosphere and staff and service excellent too! The Sea-bass was delicious 😋

Sadly not the best experience here. I asked for a mocktail and was met with a blank face after waiting a lot time to get served for drinks. Our table was late and our meal came out incorrect after specific requests for meat to be cooked through (pregnant woman) and had to be sent back. This meant we couldn’t eat together. No apology from the chef or management and no reflection of this in the bill. Not currently worth the hefty price tag to eat there sadly. Disappointed and won’t be back in a hurry.
