The food was fantastic, our waiter Sam was great! He is the singing waiter, besides great and friendly service, he has a great voice too. We were treated to a few songs while we were there. Definitely added to our experience. Table side caesar salad and bananas foster was very special too.

First time dining at Steak 38 to celebrate mine and my best friend’s birthday! I ordered bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer. The bacon was fried kinda too hard but there were 6 flavorful scallops! The ribeye was absolutely delicious, so well seasoned and cooked perfectly! The butter cake with caramel drizzle was so delicious I had to do a happy dance! But to top our experience was the waiter Sam!! Such a gem and made our birthday super special!! And the rest of the staff were so friendly and warm!! I had an absolute great dining experience!!

Sooo all my life I have driven by this place & honestly never gave it a shot because the police seemed to always be doing some sort of fishy operation at the motel attached to the restaurant. 25 years later, I decided to take a chance. I’m so very glad that I did! It is very small inside but the food, drinks & service was really amazing. I wish we had room for dessert, I’ll try to save room on our next visit. They gave us a small bottle of sparkling wine which I thought was so very nice. It was a sweet touch to our perfect dinner. Special Thank you to our waiter. You did everything right. When you go I highly recommend the specialty drink called the spring fling. Best I have had in a long time. Can’t wait to return.

Everything was AMAZING! The only miss was that I informed the restaurant on my reservation that I was there celebrating my sister’s bday and at no point did the server acknowledge it. The hostess even confirmed that it was my sister’s bday, but no further acknowledgement or even candle on the butter cake that I ordered. So that was disappointing. Other than that, food and service was great! Also, don’t be put off by the restaurant location, it’s literally in the same parking lot as Motel Express and signage is lacking so very easy to drive pass on Rt.38

Outstanding atmosphere and service. Happy hour menu was great along with the bartenders. They make actual “restaurant “ drinks! Dinner was excellent from the table side Caesar salad to the steaks we ordered. Will return again!

The most amazing food. From the goat cheese crostini, the espresso rubbed filet and the prime rib, to the lightest and best cheesecake i’ve ever had! Immediately made another reservation!
