   Disappointed. Visited the Pack Horse on recommendation. Website said Tuesday night was Burger night and was fine with that and hungry by time we arrived. Website not updated. Misleading. Turns out Monday and Tuesday are Thai nights - not mentioned on website at all. Would not have gone if known. Ok with Thai but would not go to a pub for it. No other options available. Service was good. Thai starters were good and plentiful but neither of us particularly enjoyed mains. It did seem popular and we could tell people were enjoying. They need to update their website if not yet done. Shame - was looking forward to it.

   Good Sunday lunch. Surprised it was not more busy. No complaints. Good value for food quality.

   We arrived just before 1:30 and were not acknowledged by anyone for quite some time. Eventually we were shown to our table with menus, where we sat for over half an hour with no one coming to take our drinks or food orders. During this time A waitress passed and my husband asked if she could see if anyone could take our order and still no one came. We watched numerous waitresses cleaning empty tables whilst we waited to be served. We decided to leave and find food else where as our business was clearly not valued.

   We’re staying nearby and the pub was recommended to us by the home owners. Did not disappoint and not as expensive as other coastal restaurants. Lovely pub as part of the restaurant and beer garden looks fab. Staff were excellent and food really enjoyed by all.

   Lovely comfortable country pub very dog friendly with designated areas for those visiting with a dog . The pub has open fires making the ambience cosy and comfortable .There is a good choice of food and the food was tasty and well presented .The service was friendly and efficient .I would definitely eat there again

   Really nice environment to enjoy a meal in. The service was excellent & the staff attentive but not in your face. Would recommend it to everyone. Not a vast menu but something for most people. Prices were reasonable.

    Due to previous table being late arriving, it knocked everyone back meaning we were late to our table - which was a shame. Main course fabulous and the two young waiting staff were lovely.
