Lobster was undercooked and mushy. It was taken care of right away with another one which was much better. Filet was undercooked. Was taken back and cooked more than no good. Had to order something else. Was not even offered a drink or dessert on the house after this underwhelming experience. Oh well.

The Palm Miami is NOT to be compared to what The Palm in NYC is/was. The restaurant is very mediocre with absolutely nothing outstanding to offer. The ambiance is a cheap replica of the original. The Landry Group has just diminished what once was a classic. With so many choice for steak houses in the area, this one ranks very low on the list. This is a one and done.

Was the first time we had been back in almost 15 years. The table we had was very nice, but there was a weird smell in the restaurant that reminded me of a nursing home. We had multiple servers and they were all great, with the exception of one who had a real condescending edge. One of the steaks had a fishy smell, so we sent it back and they graciously took it off the bill. The chef said it was garlic. Not sure how fish and garlic smell the same.

I hadn’t been to The Palm for years and I wasn’t sure if it was still excellent as before. I went online and saw some not so great reviews critical of things under the ownership of Landry’s. But we went anyway. And ALL of us were extremely pleased with everything about the experience. The food was outstanding (salads, beef, fish, sides, wine!!). The servers were great! Management was very professional and courteous! And the crowd was eclectic and interesting. I will definitely be back again soon!
