Service was excellent and food(meatball, steak and lobster) was cooked perfectly. Our server, Jason, was outstanding.

We normally can count on a good dining experience at The Palm. Last night’s meal was not the case. Upon being seated, we waited to be attended to longer than usual. The appetizer salads were very good, as was my 22 ounce bone-in ribeye. Unfortunately my wife’s 16 ounce New York strip was overdone and tough. She sent it back. We also sent back the wan-looking sautéed asparagus spears. They looked like they had been in the refrigerator for a long time and not the robust “steakhouse” spears we are used to. Maddeningly, as our steaks were presented, there were no steak knives, which should have been on the table long before the entrée was served. The server said he would be right back with them and wasn’t. We had to flag down a different server who responded immediately with the knives. We spent time discussing what other steakhouses we might go to instead of The Palm. An expensive, disappointing dining experience.

We ordered the special prefix menu with 2 lobster tails and New York strip steak. The lobster was over cooked and dry. Steak was very chewy, definitely not Palm’s quality. Hash brown was greasy and burnt. We were disappointed overall. Not the experience we expected.

Food and service is always great. The staff is always attentive but never too attentive. Our table seemed to be kind of random next to a column. I love the palm it’s my favorite.
