                                                          A rare restaurant Thanksgiving and it was a winner. Place was packed but the staff was up to the task! I did deduct a 1/2 star because it was SO loud. My first visit and I'd like to go back to see the daylight view.

                                                          I had the worst experience So here it goes: We arrived 5 minutes before our 4:30 reservation. We were told that they were cleaning a table for us and asked that we sit at the bar. When I made the reservation we were told that we couldn’t request a specific table, which was fine, but as we were sitting at the bar I observed several deuces taken to a table, who had arrived after us. Mind you I know there is usually a 10-15 minute grace period so perhaps their reservations were at 4:15, so I didn’t think much of it. Finally after 20 minutes we were seated. 5 minutes later another 2 were seated at the table in front of us and a few minutes later another 2 were seated in front of them. The bus boy approached us within a few minutes and asked if we wanted water. My wife ordered a club soda. 5-10 minutes later a server approached the 2 that were seated after us and took their order. A few minutes after, another server approached the 2 that seated after them and took their order. My wife got up to go to the restroom and when she returned a manager approached me and said it looked like I wanted something. We’ll duh, I told him that we had been sitting there for at least 15 minutes and we had not been acknowledged by a server….i told him I wanted a glass of wine and my wife had ordered a club soda. I also told him we were seated before the other tables whose orders were taken before us. He graciously asked if he could take our order. I had to get out of my seat to ask for knives that the busser took when we finished our first course and had to get up to ask a manager for a glass of wine when I received my main course since our waiter still had not approched us. There is much more to say but unfortunately there is not enough space.

                                                          The food was not good. Thy brought us cold meat. Then rjeuvbeought us new plates and the prime rib was well done and the ham was dry it was hard to swallow it. Just not what we expected from their penthouse for a nth holiday.

                                                          We had Thanksgiving meal with a beautiful view, excellent service and delicious and well prepared food. Everything we ordered was really good.

                                                          We ate lunch at the Penthouse on Thanksgiving day. The restaurant was fully staffed and the service was very attentive. The prix fixe meal was delightful from starters, to entrees, and to desserts, with a platter of traditional side dishes as well. There were excellent choices for the vegetarians, and a spectacular view of the coast from the 16th floor. Of special note were the butternut squash soup, the pumpkin ravioli, the maitaki mushrooms, and the salted caramel cheesecake, each adorned with creative and scrumptious embellishments. We were grateful for this beautiful meal.
