                    I went for the steak & ale pie. It was served with mash, gravy & two cold & tiny broccoli spears. The latter was replaced upon complaint. It was all delicious! Thank you!

                    It was ‘okay’. We wanted it to be better but it was ‘okay’. It started off poor as our table wasn’t ready so the knocked up a table for two which was a high table, not that comfortable. When we asked if we could move to another table which was the regular height we were told that had been reserved by someone specifically asking for a low table (bit odd to have to specify low or high table ?). Anyway, once a regular height table came free we asked once more and we got moved to a regular table. The service and meal afterwards was ‘okay’ so after a hiccup at the start it turned out alright. Take note, if you don’t want to eat perched up ask specifically for a regular / low table to avoid disappointment.

                    Fabulous, service polite & efficient. Food was excellent. Nothing was to much trouble I even had an Irish coffee which wasn’t on the menu.. ask and you may receive………. Thank you…..

                    Nice buzzy environment with friendly efficient staff. Good range of food options but disappointed at the lack of a bitter option at the bar.

                    Overall great food . Good portions. A little pricey but the food is worth it. Staff were very friendly. Make sure make a reservation ahead of time to avoid not getting a seat. Sunday menu is different from the rest of the week.

                    Lovely venue, staff very friendly & helpful, food delicious, the only downside quite noisy because of the open bar area next to the restaurant! But overall very enjoyable.
