From it’s humble beginnings as a pop-up restaurant, to a farmer"s market stand and now a successful brick-and-mortar eatery, The Pig and the Lady, led by twice-nominated James Beard semifinalist Chef Andrew Le (with help from his family including his mother, Mama Le), cook up what is essentially the family meal in the truest sense -- Exposing Honolulu diners a cross-section of cuisine that has Vietnamese origins, but is eclectic and daring.Chef Le and his team have developed a modern, fresh take on traditional Southeast Asian food, utilizing local products -- serving their famous banh mi and pho, along with new favorites. Le is the one of the few chefs cooking contemporary food built on Southeast Asian flavors that has garnered rave reviews -- a foundation built on delicious memories first introduced by his mother. They are open Monday through Saturday, serving lunch and dinner. You can also still find them at the Farmer’s Markets at Blaisdell, Kailua and KCC.

    Cucina vietnamita ottima. I Noodles eccellenti, pollo fritto molto buono ed una buona selezione anche di birre. I bambini hanno un bel kids menù in cui poter scegliere. Locale di gusto industriale, un po’ chiassoso, ma Con stile. Consigliato, da provare assolutamente.

    A lovely meal. The food was incredible, as was the service. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion or a great date night.

    Innovative Vietnamese-Asian fusion cooking in a fun-filled atmosphere with great, friendly, and attentive service. Especially loved the bites (all 3 but especially the venison tartare), crab and white asparagus risotto, and the canh bi do. Too many wonderful dishes to try all at once--we'll be back. Desserts looked great, but we were too full to try this time. If you like Mescal, you'll love the midday run.

    Excellent and creative food! Cool Ambience and love the bathroom decor (gotta see it to believe it). The fois gras, tea salad, and asparagus were outstanding. Would definitely go there again on our next visit.

    Great restaurant however I believe it’s unreasonable to add 6% tax for back of house staff and then assume it’s ok to ask for gratuity for service staff. Build this in the pricing of your food not on top of the bill. I have never ever seen this before and we travel globally often .
