   Wife’s 70th Birthday with two “old” friends! Nice meal, but service a little slow today between main & dessert, one dish (vegan steak) could have been hotter, but was OK. And Eggs Benedict, yolks were overdone. We didn’t moan as we were hungry! Not up to usual excellent standards.

   Our first visit for a birthday.Lovely venue. Very helpful waiting staff. The food was fantastic, the white chocolate and marmite pot was delicious.

   Firstly we booked a part of the restaurant that was not supposed to have dogs in, we had three dogs in the the area we were. Apart from barking ,one dog sat on the chair and was licking the table. There was also children running up and down the restaurant . The food was ok, not exceptional. We are afraid could not recommend to friends.

   Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback though I am sorry for the experience you had whilst dining with us at The Pigs. We do try to keep an area dog free, however, occasionally we do have guests arrive with their four-legged friends (that we weren't made aware of) it then becomes difficult to switch tables. We do ask for dogs to not be on the seats and would expect them to not be licking the tables. We are a dog and family friendly establishment so to find both dogs and children is normal, we do apologise, however, for the things you have brought to our attention and we will keep a close eye on this.    The food and service was outstanding. The cost is above average, however the complete experience makes it total value for money . This is our 3rd visit recently and we have not been disappointed. The management and staff deserve full credit, for putting the customer first. Keep up the excellent work, well worth a visit if you have not been .

    We were very impressed with our meal at The Pigs. The menu was interesting and varied, and the food was excellent, tasty and attractively presented. The only small negative point was that the puddings weren’t hot, they were only just warm. The staff were very friendly, responsive and professional. We will definitely be back!
