   The Happy Hour at the Pines was excellent—Martinis for $9. , great Gem salad, wings and Mussels were excellent. We will go back again.

   Overall - the small bites served with the wine tasting were really not to my liking. The potstickers were fairly good. The puffs and onion thing were not up to the Pines standards at all. And did not compliment the wine. The guitarist was AWESOME and was worth the price of admission. Didn’t order any wine - as it was hard to enjoy it with the less than good “small bites”. Pretzel mix???? Really???? The Pines can do better than that.

   This is becoming a local favorite for us! The staff is always super friendly and the ambience and food are great. To be honest, a few of our favorite go-to restaurants in Rehoboth have now been bought by a conglomerate and the quality and experience just aren’t what they used to be. We’ve always liked the Pines and the more we come, the more we appreciate it.

   My husband and I went on steak night and had the filet! It was delicious and our server was friendly and helpful - we look forward to visiting again.

   We had the mussels appetizer which was delicious. I ordered the shrimp fra diablo which my definition is supposed to be spicy. I even told our waiter that I like it spicy when I ordered. The plate looked very nice. But had no flavor. Tasted like marinara sauce. When I brought it to the waiters attention. She brought me a serving of chili paste which I used all.of to give the dish any flavor. Everything else was fine.

    Food and service always top notch. Staff are friendly and attentive. The Pines is always on my itinerary whenever I visit Rehoboth Beach!
