THE PORT HOUSE
DUBLIN & LONDON
Opened first in 2006 we realised we had something special in our little cave on South William Street in Dublin 2! Twelve months later, we opened another little cave in Temple Bar and our third in a cottage in Dundrum Town’s Centre’s Pembrook District.

After three successful restaurants and seven years of hard work and saving our pocket money, we decided we were grown up enough to hit London in search of fame and fortune down the West End of Covent Garden, where we hope to get a small bit part alongside Jude Law!

In 2019, we were delighted to announce that we opened our fifth location in Camden Street, Dublin 2. Which is an incredibly diverse area that gives us the opportunity to present our tapas, ports and wines with a focus on Cava that does not receive the attention it deserves.

Food, as always , was outstanding. Absolutely delicious. We were in the covered part of the restaurant which is not quite as nice as the main part, but its only a very minor, minor thing. We love coming here and the food is always amazing.

Great food. Despite there being plenty of staff, they were very inattentive. We weren't offered drinks, and we had to call them over to get served every time. We went elsewhere for deserts. It's a pity because everything else was great

First time to this restaurant and first time to a tapas bar . The waitress was most helpful in guiding us through the menu. We had a lovely meal and enjoyed this lovely restaurant.. Thank you .. Gerry...

Overall great spot for tapas and drink. Lovely ambience and food was good but very busy so you have to have time to wait.

A pleasant nighttime experience for a small meal and glass of wine, but don’t expect everything to be perfect.The staff change frequently and don’t always understand customer request.Some dishes are very good but others mediocre.The patatas bravas and other sauces are very poor, especially in a country like Ireland , the home of potatoes. The tarta de Santiago is quite unlike Spanish one, seems to contain coconut rather than almond? Calamari excellent.

Had a lovely lunch in the Dundrum restaurant today. Service was so friendly and efficient. Food tasty especially the baby squid. Coffee good. What’s there not to like!
