Excellent food and service. Can not fault this place. We were in dog friendly area and so accommodating and friendly to the dogs. Very clean.

Fabulous restaurant with wonderful experiences staff. The food is incredible. The restaurant is not pretentious at all but relaxed. A minor point the reason I didn’t give all categories 5 stars was that unfortunately our neighbouring table were loud and brash unnecessarily so and this did impact on the enjoyment of our evening.

An excellent meal - lots of items on the Specials Boards. Lobster Thermidor was outstanding.

Delicious food from a good value fixed price weekday menu. The fish was exceptional and there was a nice buzz considering it was a cold Monday night in March. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful.

Not many restaurants serve such a wide selection of fish and seafood and it didn’t disappoint. We originally booked for a Sunday lunch but changed it to dinner and stayed overnight in the hotel next door. A relaxed and friendly restaurant serving good, tasty food. We had the seafood platter for two but there was enough for four - we took away a doggy box! Fabulous location, with beautiful Bamburgh beach on the doorstep.

Relaxed restaurant with a good atmosphere. Very welcoming and friendly service. Fabulous food and very good menu options. We’re not local but will definitely visit again when next in the area and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Food was absolutely incredible, portion sizes provided great value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bamburgh or the surrounding area. Definitely worth a trip, we couldn’t believe the standard of the food. Thank you Potted Lobster for the perfect end to our holiday!
