The Potting Shed is a place to meet, eat, drink, relax and chat your day and night away – where hanging plants, terracotta pots and timber beams meet brass, brick and iron. Where you can plant yourself down on the swing seat, bench or at the bar and feel like you are on your family’s porch.

It’s a lively place where you can hoe into fresh, locally harvested produce, delivered by our shed-hands. The same hands that will deliver you good-natured banter, craft beers on tap, great tasting wines and unique cocktails.

The menu offers cozy share options for groups, three course substantial meal choices for those wanting to make an evening of it and a fun selection of nibbles for people wanting a light after-work snack with their cocktails or a share jug amongst friends.

T&C's: - Semi-private dining with all guests seated at a high table. - Groups under 16 guests will share the table; 16+ guests enjoy exclusive use. - Reservations are for 2.5 hours. - Not available between 2:15pm and 4:45pm. - Guests aged 16+ must dine on the group menu. - Dietary requirements must be confirmed 48 hours in advance; we'll do our best to accommodate. - Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. - Capacity: 10-20 guests. - 10% service charge applies.A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays. - Styling and set menu may change without notice.

Great food, great service, but drinks were very overpriced. Especially the Snow White apple mocktail. It tasted like watered down apple juice with some edible glitter in it. Very overpriced at almost $20.

Although the waiter mixed up our order and ordered a wrong dish he was amazing very apologetic so we had no issues, given he was the nicest gentleman amd we we’d in no hurry. The noise was a little loud however it was school holidays so next time we will endeavour to go during non school holidays Overall it was a lovely meal, nice atmosphere and service was wonderful Will def be back.

Absolutely loved The Potting Shed! We celebrated our engagement dinner with their Private Dining: The Lock-In Feast, and it was nothing short of magical. The three-course shared platter was both generous and mouth-wateringly delicious—perfect for bringing everyone together. We chose the premium package, which came with a beautifully styled table adorned with fresh roses and flickering candles throughout the room—so romantic and thoughtfully done. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, ideal for a cherished family celebration. A huge shoutout to Abi, our incredible host—she was so sweet, attentive, and made us feel completely at ease. The entire team was just as welcoming, making the whole evening feel seamless and special. We couldn’t recommend this place more—it’s the perfect spot for a memorable occasion. We’ll absolutely be back!

I had Good Friday lunch with my family, the food was delicious and the lush green atmosphere of the plants was so relaxing! The only downside is the poor staff were run off their feet, so understandably we had long wait times for service and food. Other than that I would highly recommend The Potting Shed if you’re looking for elevated casual dining!

took two clients from out of town for dinner. they were very impressed with the ambience of ther potting shed. Our server was very attentive mand the food was delicious!
