The Pour House is a tapas and cocktail bar with a relaxed atmosphere and chill music. Established by Luke and Robert in 2023, we are a relatively new experience within the town of Whitehaven, offering cool and fresh ideas to the cocktail and tapas industry.

We offer a range of traditional Spanish and English tapas dishes from Thursday to Saturday and Sunday lunches on Sundays. We have a range of approximately 40 cocktails, including call cocktails you may desire, in addition to an extensive range of mocktails.

We have a chilled atmosphere, so we're perfect for lunch, a quick bite to eat or a longer stay with a few drinks.

    Took the wife for a valentines lunch at The Pour House in Whitehaven. Booking a table was very easy and stress free. On arrival we recieved a warm and friendly greeting before being shown to our table. The menu had a great variety. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious and of high quality. The whole experience was very positive and both my wife and I have agreed that it is somewhere we will visit again in the near future.

    Food was lovely, cooked to perfection. Staff were really nice and pleasant , helpful . Only thing, I thought the decor was a bit dated upstairs , could do with a touch up

    Table of 7 booked for a celebration meal. At 11.30pm the night before was asked for a pre order , dint mind pre ordering but just thought it was very late in the day to ask . Then chased again the next day we were coming to eat. I think more time should be given Infact ask at the time if booking? Pre ordered and one meal was missing to . The food is always lovely but just find it comes out too slow with people waiting for dishes and halfway through before your side arrives. I appreciate all cooked fresh just needs to all land at the same time .

    Hi, we're glad you enjoyed your time with us :) Since you posted the feedback about the pre-order request, I have taken the time to make some changes to how we request and notify the customer of this. Customers are now notified at the time of booking, as well as their confirmation email while follow-ups are done sooner. Thanks TPH

    Our first time at The Pour house and it won't be the last! Great service and vibes, the food was incredible and didn't cost a fortune, it was very reasonably priced. 10/10

    Really disappointing food. Frozen chips with mediocre sauce on and called patatas bravas. Truffle fries were thick frozen chips with a bizarre coating on. Definitely not like any truffle fries I’ve had anywhere else. Not even average food in my opinion.

    The food was lovely, although the oils to go with the focaccia were rancid, the belly pork and mini sausages were very tasty and the chocolate dessert was really nice, the young lad that served us was exceptional, his manner and service was great, pleasant and helpful. Also had four cocktail’s, all were delicious, especially the espresso martini.

    Food amazing as always but service was very slow. However, we will return as service previously has been really good.
