Happy Valentine's Day! Enjoy a special preset dinner at the Prado in Balboa Park. We will only be serving a 3-course meal with a sparkling wine toast for $79.95 per person. We have seating availability from 4:30-8pm inside our dining rooms or on our outdoor heated terrace. Payment is due at the restaurant.

Great service from Freddy, attentive service from others as well. The best Cobb salad I have had in a long time and the creme brulee was wonderful. The restaurant was crowded but not noisy. We walked over to the Botanical Garden after lunch, end of a great experience.

We always have a great experience at Prado. The salads are delicious and you can add shrimp, salmon or chicken. The hamburger is huge and the fries are so good. I love the Arugula salad with salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly. My husband had the shrimp cobb salad that was very large and filling. We enjoy having a nice glass of wine while soaking up the lovely view from the patio and the warm sunshine. We'll be back soon.

The Prado has been our go-to spot for years. The service is always TOP NOTCH and the food quality is reliably excellent time and time again. It’s one of San Diego’s gems in a beautiful setting !

I have always wanted to try this famous restaurant, but the food quality was so subpar. The bread was sale. The fries were definitely frozen and stale. The service was fine. The ambience was fine. I’m just not really sure what the problem is with the food here.

Had a wonderful experience with our server Shada. Yes it’s a little high end but overall a good value for quality and amount of food. Very clean facility and very friendly and professional staff. Good choices and many options - highly recommend

Beautiful time for Sunday lunch with a Sangria pitcher on the patio. Server was amazing and did a great job thinking ahead and getting us things before we even needed to ask. Sun was a bit warm and bright sitting on the patio. But had beautiful view and fountain in the background made for a romantic lunch. Food was delicious and the flan was the best flan I’ve ever had.

The Del Prado is beautiful! Inside/outside dining. We live close and go often. It’s not cheap but, you get value for your money. Food is very good, staff is excellent, friendly and courteous. The building there in the park is a classic, you can walk around the park after dinner and enjoy so much to see.
