The restaurant at Baron’s Cove features classic, all-American cuisine with a separate lounge and bar area, welcoming hotel guests as well as local visitors. In 2023 & 2024 the restaurant was awarded with the "Award of Excellence" by Wine Spectator.

While dining with us enjoy panoramic views from a table on the deck! The menu offers beloved, classic American fare, including succulent fish and buttery lobster rolls. All dishes are prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. With its second-floor location, the dining room offers stunning views of the harbor.

For more intimate gatherings, we offer The Map Room -also located on the second floor- which can be reserved for Private events of upto 20 guests.

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you are staying at Baron's Cove! Chrustmas is the perfect time to go. Fireplace is lit and lights are up. Service was excellent, food was excellent and the ambience was excellent. Very warm and inviting. If I had to say anything negative, it would be their choice in music. They should have played holiday music or something a bit softer. It didn't match the atmosphere.

Everything was fine. We were seated on an enclosed patio area with heaters but it was still a bit chilly. Service was polite and friendly but staffing was somewhat limited with basically one waiter handling many tables. He did very well under the circumstances. The food was good but not special. It was a prix fix dinner and the value was ok but the wine list lacked reasonably priced bottles.

Summary: One of the best restaurants in Sag Harbor, great view from the upper floor (especially before nightfall), a welcoming ambiance, and prompt service. The food aspires to Top Chef status, but when we were there on Thanksgiving Day, 2024, it didn't quite make that cut. The two starter courses (I had soup and a generous portion of crabmeat) and desserts were fantastic, but my main course choice of traditional turkey seemed to be a pileup of dark meat left over from other customers' preference for white meat. But we had a good time, and the customers were a pleasant mix of families and friends. Since it is part of a hotel, the restaurant was open on Thanksgiving when many restaurants were closed, and we were grateful to get a reservation anywhere close to the day. The price was fair given the day. On Open Table, I don't remember any warning that there would be a $99 prix fixe per person for a four-course meal, plus tax and the required 21% tip (plus a suggested option to add more). This could add up to a surprise for a family. The restaurant website in one place says there is a $50 per person cancellation fee. and in another, it says $100 per person. But these are minor quibbles. I recommend this place.

Horrific Thanksgiving meal. Soup came out cold. Crab cakes came out ice cold in the center. Stuffing came out cold like it had been in the refrigerator. Service was snail slow. 2-1/2 hours wasted for a deplorable experience. Manager hid after I hunted him down to complain. He committed to take care of us via the check. There were 6 of us at $99/per plate plus drinks. His idea of taking care of us for all the cold food and terrible service was $100 off. This place should be closed. Never have I had a worse experience in my life. Happy Freaking Thanksgiving.

Worst dining experience after years of eating at Baron’s Cove. We were a party of 5, all of whom are frequent diners at Bz. C. We did not know of a private party taking up most of thd upstairs dining area. Initially seated outdoors where it was freezing & overcrowded, we were moved to an upstairs back room. That gesture we appreciated but then the kitchen ran out of several entree & dessert choices.. Such scarcity was puzzling Our server, Miguel, was outside. Kudos for his grace & professionalism. It may be a ling time till we return.

My husband and I ate a lovely dinner here before a show at the Bay Street Theater (btw they offer discount if you show the your tickets!). It was super quiet, there was literally no one in the restaurant for a good hour after we were seated. We ordered a couple of drinks which we enjoyed. The salads were both good and the mains were delicious. I had short ribs and my hubs had filet mignon. We did wait a good bit for our entrees but we had time and the ambience was so nice and relaxing we didn’t mind. By the time we left, the bar below us was getting a bit raucous but again it was not an issue. Just shows people we’re having fun! We decided that we will come next summer and stay the weekend.

The restaurant is beautiful! The porch looks amazing with the fall pumpkins and mums. The food was great and the staff very nice. The downstairs bar and fireplace feels like you ate in a cozy living room. Enjoy!

Amazing place to grab a drink and have dinner. The lobby bar was awesome and live music was playing. Fireplace in the bar and one out side in covered patio w/heat lamps. Food was great!
