Overall we enjoyed our afternoon tea experience. The welcome in the hotel foyer was very good. The selection of teas was excellent and Prosecco was very nice. Too many of the cakes were mousse based which didn’t suit our tastes and I also felt whilst the service was attentive initially there were no staff coming to ask us what extra drinks we would like despite tea and hot chocolate being unlimited. On the whole very nice and we were glad we went but would be unlikely to return.

Excellent customer service from all the staff, we were seated infront of the open kitchen with was exceptional to see how the chefs all work. All the food looked incredible! We have the beef wellington which was beautiful (the beef fillet is cooked rare) and comes with chunky fries. Would definitely recommend and return to try other dishes on the menu. Pricey, but worth it for an exceptional meal!

We visited at Christmas. The room was decorated well and the hotel generally was lovely. Food delicious and attentive, not over the top service. A nice easy meal in a quality restaurant/hotel

The server was good , the food was good too. Presentation was good and the ambiance was just okay. I thought it would have ibeen an elegant place but it wasn’t . It was more like a breakfast place . In fact, that’s where we skipped having breakfast because the lines were insane .

We visited for afternoon tea. The food was wonderful and the service outstanding. With endless refills of tea food it was an amazing experience.

Absolutely stunning food & ambience. The staff at the bar were very attentive, though we didn't really appreciate a £10 service charge for a bottle of champagne we bought at the bar to take away...that was a bit cheeky! However, we still think we would like to return, & maybe stay over rather than just have a meal.
