   Good food and friendly service. One dish was served cold but was sent back and removed from bill. Lots of choice. Restaurant busy!

   I was disappointed not to be sat in the pretty area as that for me is extra special. Service was great apart from a slight mixup with our request to have one dish as a starter but was sorted promptly. Still one of my favourite places to go, despite the small tables ☺️

   It’s been 7 years since I last been. The food did not disappoint, it was as good as I last had it. Went on a Friday lunch, and they had an offer of any main and drink for £11. Bargain for such delicious food. Friday lunch had a few people around, so was nice and quiet. Sat to the left of the bar and was pretty cool despite it being a warm day. Despite feeling so full, the smells that came out of the kitchen were delicious, almost deluding myself into thinking I could eat more. Thame has some great eateries, The Rising Sun is one of them. I purposefully travelled from the Midlands to have my birthday meal here.

   Direction to table by member of staff was wrong.Table was in corner and had to move table to get to one seat. Ordered a second drink during meal which didn’t arrive so had to ask again.Food was great

    Amazing food. Great welcome. Service impeccable but slowed down when it got busier and we wanted to pay.
