I drove over 30 minutes and I got there to find someone mopping the floor. Another guy was putting out chairs. They both looked at me and kept doing what they were doing. I had to ask to be addressed. I was eventually told they were closed and wouldn’t open for another 30 minutes. I asked why I was allowed to make reservations. No one could answer that.

There was only one other table seated when we arrived, took them 8 minutes to seat us. Another hour to receive our food, after arriving at 6:20, and two request. Ambiance was poor, needed to request additional light to see the menu and our food. Salad was tasty, pork chops were over cooked, and flavorless. Cost was $35 Music was too loud for dinner time, to top it off an adult was allowed to approach our table to request us to buy cookies which were in a shopping bag to help a cheerleading team to buy uniforms. Later when leaving we saw a preteen and this same adult being allowing this preteen to be unruly in the elevator. You could not pay me to return.

Sorry but feel like I need to let them know. Food was over cooked and lacked flavor. Had Fried chicken dish with collard greens and Mac cheese. Very bland. Floors were wet and slick. Slip hazard. Moscow Mule tasted weird. Service was crazy slow based on the lack of people in the restaurant. Cool location but sadly this seems like a bar vs a restaurant.

I don’t know who Wes is, but Wes’s Fried Chicken was insanely good! That is one of the best low-country meals I have had in the past 10 years and the absolute best I have ever had in Texas! The live music was world-class and is worth the visit alone. I will definitely be visiting again soon and already have my eye on the bourbon pork chop…if my brain doesn’t force me to order the fried chicken again.

I feel like the place was really hard to find at first and even with no one being there. The service was terrible. Our server only came up to us maybe three times in the one time was to take our order in the next time to give us our check. I don’t know if maybe if the service was so terrible, because there was no other people, but to spend so much money somewhere just for them to be talking really loud (servers) as well as charge for gratuity when they didn’t do anything terrible I will not be back
