The food was nothing special and neither was the service. Limited option for non alcoholic beverages. My wife’s beer was poured improperly and was flat. Heard good things about The Rustic from our son so we gave it a try after shopping. We won’t be returning

I have been here before and I like the casual environment to hand with family and friends. The food is always good but this time it looked quite expensive. Mainly the steaks that comes with no side.

This was our first time at The Rustic Houston Uptown. The service started out good, but my wife’s Chardonnay had a weird cheap wine taste and I ordered a peach tea which is a bourbon drink which was extremely tasteless. No floor at all. We sent both back and just drank our water. Our server disappeared for about 20 minutes so her coworkers brought our food out and retrieve the condiments we requested. My fries were not hot and the lettuce in my wife’s salad was wilted. My spicy chicken and cheese sandwich was good. Extremely disappointed in this restaurant, since it was our last meal before heading home to Ohio. We will probably never go back next time we’re in Houston.

This was my second team Christmas Dinner and it did not let me down. The food was amazing, the service could’ve been better being that they let themselves go over booked on reservations. The music kinda took over the noise level making it hard to communicate with one another but did not ruin my experience. I would recommend this place and return in the future.

The restaurant was out of brisket, and I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have a couple of other items on the menu. Chad went beyond the call of duty and brought out an appetizer with a chicken substitute, his favorite dessert. When they did have some brisket, he brought out some nachos with the brisket. He made the whole experience at the restaurant amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone in the Houston area.

Service was subpar. Establishment had so many different activities, it was hard to understand what theme they are trying to convey for their restaurant.

Our meal was ok. My husband enjoyed his French Dip, but my Shrimp/Avocado Salad was so salty that I couldn’t eat much of it. My red wine was served cold, which caused the taste to be off. On a positive note, we did enjoy the live music.
