Partners and long-time friends, Ryan Hines and Jay Kulas believe that the most important moments in life are about building relationships and usually involve a great meal. Maintaining a friendship for over fifteen years, the two shared a common approach when it came to opening a restaurant - to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere for friends and family to gather, curate experiences and build meaningful connections.

We were seated on the fireplace side. I believe a bit more creativity on the walls would benefit that area. We were seated next to a window and could feel a cold draft. The patrons were on the chatty side, so it was a bit noisy, however, the food was outstanding & the waiter was very attentive and polite.

I was disappointed with my food experience at the Rustic Spoon. Though my server was fantastic, every dish my party of three had was either over-salted or over-peppered. I purchased the seafood linguini dish and tasted nothing but salt. My friend had the beef stroganoff... I tasted his dish, and it was nothing but salt. My daughter purchased a steak that was so spicy she couldn't eat it because it burned her tongue and throat. I paid nearly $200 for three entrees, two half-priced happy hour drinks, one soft drink, one mediocre app, and a brownie Sundae. $200 is a relative price and not bad for a great meal. Regrettably, my meal was not great. I could have dined at Red Lobster and had a better meal for the price, and that's saying something because Red Lobster is a very average dining experience. Also, the noise level here was rough -- it's essentially a sports bar, which I did not know. This was my first experience at The Rustic Spoon. I chose it based on the overwhelmingly great reviews. I don't know if we had a bad cook or what, but I was so disappointed. It was my birthday on top of that and I did not have the great dinner I hoped for. Oh Well. lol

Friendly greeting. Delicious food — Benedict and Short Ribs Hash, served hot. Delightful visit with longtime friend. Excellent service.

We waited forty minutes for our food and it came to the table lukewarm.They were not busy so I don’t understand why it took so long. Our server made an odd comment that made the rest of the meal awkward. Overall meh.

The food was great. Service a bit slow as they seemed to be understaffed and our server was very pleasant but harried.

Very enjoyable lunch today at The Rustic Spoon. It was our first visit and will definitely come back to try other items on the menu. I asked our server for recommendations, and tried the Haystack Burger. My companion had the Clams and the Mushroom Toast. There was a large variety of breakfast items that looked intriguing, so I will be back to work my way through the menu!

Food was excellent as always! We tried out dinner vs brunch; it was incredible! Great food and ambience. The filet was excellent as was the Gnocchi. Everything we had was delicious. Cannot recommend The Rustic Spoon enough, it’s our favorite!
