   We were very disappointed with our dining experience in The Saint. Being regular customers here although the girl who served our table was really friendly the food was really not up to the usual standard. There was a mix up with the soup so by the time it was rectified the other two of us were finished our starters of Bruchetta which was cold and soggy anyway. Bread had not been toasted. Then we ordered onion rings and a mass off overcooked greasy batter arrived and when I complained I was told that was the way the batter was but I challenged the woman and I got fresh onion rings delivered halfway through my meal. Not sure that we would rush back here.

   Very inviting dining area. Great decor and setting. The fragrance inside the restaurant was fantastic. Tried lentil soup and chips and it was great, the bread as well that came with the soup was very delicious. Overall great experience and highly recommend!

   Initial welcome great as was table Service ok after a nice bottle of Prosecco thank you. Had to ask for water 3 times Waited 45 mins for food Roast beef great- no roast potatoes to be seen and Yorkshire pudding was crusty and not fresh. Hake £26 and Gnocchi £16 portions small Best meal was steak pie hence delay in other meals Not sure we’d go back to be honest even though service charge removed due to delay. £170 and still hungry!! By the way we nearly got scammed having booked via open table got an email to pay a deposit - ignore!!! X

   Service was excellent, every one of us really enjoyed our food was absolutely delicious. Wine was fabulous too ,will definitely be back and would recommend

    Seemed like a shortage of staff and overwhelmed by a large party. We were seated next to the large party, even though there was a quiet section. Service slowed to a halt after our food was delivered. I think staff needs some training on recognizing that table cleaning does not take priority from a party clearly done with their meal and wanting a check. We had a birthday and we chose not to get a dessert because service was so bad.
