Salted Melon offers South End residents and visitors a destination to start, spend, and end their day at this convenient and vibrant market and eatery!

At our counter, we serve up an 'all-day menu' of breakfast and lunch favorites, coffee items, and baked goods - morning, noon and night! You can also join us in our dining room for chef curated entrées, shareables, and hand-crafted cocktails, on Tuesdays-Saturdays from 4pm-10pm. We also offer seated brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm.

Don't forget - our market offers elevated convenience with gourmet groceries, fresh produce, and a vast offering of specialty items that will become your new favorites. We have a curated selection of beer and wine, as well as gift baskets that make the perfect host gift for any occasion!

Our food was great but the restaurant was very overwhelmed when we went. The kitchen seemed a bit disorganized with errors on our drink and food orders. The server was very apologetic though and the food was good! The truffle fries were great. I hope our next visit is a bit less eventful.

Great food we had the potatoes and French toast with a vanilla latte coffee. Very delicious and fast service will definitely be back.

Specifically, the salmon was extremely over salted, the risotto was undercooked and tasteless. The cheesecake was burnt on top.

Super fun eclectic restaurant. Great gluten free options. Our server, Nicole, was very accommodating and attentive. And big bonus....the build your own...espresso martinis and margaritas

We closed out my birthday weekend with brunch at The Salted Melon Market & Eatery which wasn't our original choice but the first restaurant we had reservations for the chef hadn't shown up and no food was prepped. No I won't name the other restaurant because anybody can have a bad day. Needless to say we switched gears promptly; getting reservations through OpenTable was quick and easy. The food was great for the value, everyone seemed to enjoy their dish. (I had the shrimp & grits) Our server, Maya H was fantastic, she inquired about turkey bacon as a protein option which is not listed on the menu but the chef informed her that they did indeed have some which made my wife very happy! My only compliant is that the coffee gets cold quickly in the very pretty mugs they have. Again our awesome server brought me some more coffee in a to-go cup to add to my mug. It's the service and staff care we received that would definitely make me come back to The Salted Melon Market & Eatery.

The experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We ordered two coffees, but both were served cold. To have them replaced, I had to go to the coffee shop area myself because there was only one waitress working. When the food finally arrived, the pancakes were a letdown. The sweet pancakes were raw inside and tasted like pure flour, and the kids’ pancakes had the same issue. When we informed the waitress, she appeared annoyed with us for pointing it out. Even as we left, I thanked her, but she didn’t respond. While she did remove the pancakes from the bill, the situation was poorly handled overall.

Excellent service and food. It’s loud if that’s ok with you. Interesting menu. Everything I’ve had here has been very tasty.
