Sequel is a solid addition to the Vancouver Coal Harbour neighbourhood. The food and service is excellent. We enjoyed the perfectly cooked Sablefish, classic beef Wellington and tangy tomatoey all beef lasagna.

Thoroughly enjoyable dinner! We both enjoyed Escargot, Burrata, duck & beef wellington. Would highly recommend.

Overall, we had a really nice experience! The service was really friendly, the ambiance was nice, and the food was good. We ordered the bone-in pork chop which was a nice big portion, the signature risotto which was good but too salty after a few bites, the pork belly tacos which we’ve ordered in the past but this time the portions seemed a bit smaller and they forgot the lime wedge so it missed a flavour, the larusso cocktail which was light and refreshing, the chai latte which was really good, and the tiramisu which was great to finish off our meal. The restaurant was decently busy on a Friday evening but with lots of open tables near us, it would’ve been nice if they spread each dining group further from each other so we could enjoy some privacy.

The food was delicious, excellent service. We had lobster gnocchi, beef pappardelle and the risotto. Desserts can be improved

Decided to give Sequel a try for brunch as it is new and we had never been. Glad we went; it was excellent. I had the Beatles English breakfast and wife had the crab cake Bennies and both were very tasty. We’ll be back.

This was our first visit to Sequel and we were very impressed. Our meals were excellent; the service was excellent and we loved the ambience. We’ll definitely be back!
