    Went for a Sunday roast and it was totally amazing. Dog friendly and very friendly staff with great all round service. Can't recall enough.

    This is a really lovely pub with excellent service and friendly staff. I went there just after Christmas with two other people. The food is at the higher end price wise so you would expect pretty good quality. We really enjoyed our experience there overall but one of my fellow diners was very disappointed with their main course. This is a shame as it has put them off going again, especially as they also thought it was a bit overpriced for what they got. I thought the food was great though so may just have been one blip on the menu. We all thought the desserts were really good. It has a nice atmosphere and is a nice place to go for a quiet drink.

    Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, fabulous food. Would have awarded 5 stars, however our table was in the line of the entrance door and was therefore quite drafty. However we soon warmed up once the food arrived. Haven't had this problem before just unfortunate on this occasion.

    Excellent carrots, Yorkshire pud, parsnips and potatoes and roast meat. Excellent wait staff and service - excellent pudding and all food very well presented and great quantity. Excellent value for money.

    The menu offered a fantastic selection, and the food was truly excellent with generous portions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, always willing to explain the dishes in detail and provide great recommendations. While the ambience was quiet on this evening, there was still a good number of people dining, creating a relaxed yet enjoyable atmosphere. Service was impeccable throughout, making it a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.

    It was our first visit to The Sheep & Penguin and we will definitely return, The staff, the food and the venue itself were lovely, highly recommend.

    It was our first visit and we will definitely return for a Sunday roast - it was delicious! Perfectly cooked, very tasty, excellent quality and generous portions. The staff were very friendly and professional too. An all-round great experience!
