We love this place. We come every year when in town. Have to give a shoutout to Wilson and Coco for going above and beyond. They truly made our evening an experience and we are thankful. We will definitely be back!

I am big fan of The Smith, the Chicago one was a big disappointment for the following reasons: 1)Main server was annoying and not customer centric. Lacked critical thinking skills. We had a speaker and she interrupted to ask for orders. 2)General Manager came over to speak to me to unauthentically express she was concerned we did not order when she wanted us to. 3)The machine to pay the bill did not work and a new machine had to be brought over The Smith-Midtown in NY is the BEST!!!! The Smith-Chicago can learn a thing or two or three or four from NYC!

Service was excellent, our waiter went over the menu and recommended some items for us which was helpful. The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the noise level wasn't too loud.

A cool, simple, casual place. Strangely loud even though music wasn’t unbearable. We had a burger and French dip. Went for a side of brussel sprouts which were excellent. Good try on the Old Fashioned alternative, although was a miss for me as the allspice didn’t work well. Will come back.

We’ve been here a few times and ordered in several times because the food is amazing. The food was still great, but the service was incredibly disappointing. I booked well in advance for our valentines date with my husband and our waiter might as well have forgotten we were there. We ordered apps immediately, but when we’re finished it took another 30 minutes for someone to take our food order. The manager cleared our app plates after seeing we had been there for a while, said she would get us more silverware and never came back. I tried getting the waiters attention several times and he would not even look our direction and service another table. When he finally arrived, my husband asked if we could order and he was very standoffish and said “sure” as if we were not just waiting for 30 minutes. When our food arrived it was great, and we asked to pay right away to avoid waiting forever again. TLDR, great food and terrible service
