   The food was delicious as ever - but for the first time today ( after many visits) , the Service was not as good as usual. Definitely felt like there wasn’t really anyone in charge. At one point we had to go to order our desert at the Till , where 3 girls were chatting - and not being attentive to us. I was pleased we hadn’t taken guests with us today due to the lacking it’s usual ‘feel good’ experience.

   We are fortunately able to eat here regularly and, as always, it’s fab - no pressure, no rush, great food, excellent service - maybe a teeny a bit pricey but so is everything else these days!

   Dining at the Snooty Fox is always a high class experience and yesterday’s visit was no exception other than to say the food quality for Sunday lunch was even better than usual; it was exceptional ! Many congrats to all the team involved. Thank you. Roger H

   The food is always amazing and the venue is lovely. Service, while generally great can be a bit slow at times.

   Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, only negative was the cauliflower cheese that was very lacking in cheese and the cauliflower was only just cooked.

   Food was next level! Deep fried oysters, melt in the mouth beef, soft buttery pork loin, lemon sorbet - flavour and texture sensations!

   It did not live up to the hype They forgot us on several occasions, with no drinks arriving and food took a good hour The food was nice but definitely not better than anywhere else I've been and not particularly hot either. The dessert (ice-cream) was pretty much melted by the time it arrived It was a shame as I'd heard so many good reviews

    Overall, a good experience. Few of the tables were very loud which was distracting (not the venues fault!), starters were very average (scallop's were 'on the turn' but well presented, French toast was under seasoned and overall underwhelming as a dish) but the steaks were EXCELLENT - one ribeye and one sirloin, both cooked to perfection. Easily the best steaks we have had in the local area for a very long time. Took advantage of the 'steak Tuesday' offer and would consider coming back for the Monday Cote de Boeuf offer in future if it is the same chef as cooked our steaks, and if the chips were left in the fryer for a couple more minutes.
