   I did request a roast chicken meal when I booked the table but it wasn’t an option when we came to eat. But the beef was delicious as an alternative

   Not our first time at the Stag because the food is always good but this time the service was found wanting, dropping the venue down our list of good places to eat in Stow and surrounding areas.

   Second time at the Stag. Had the delicious pie for two. It was outstanding. It came with vegetables mashed potatoes. Everything was great. Ended with the delicious sticky toffee pudding. Wonderful. Service was very friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

   The food experience was very nice . Nice food well presented and place was very clean . The fire place on make a big difference to fell so cosy and. Comfortable .

   The food was amazing however we were tucked in a corner where the table next to is had to move their child in order for us to get in and we were left nearly an hour to pay the bill. Such a shame!

    I am a regular lunch diner there bringing my American clients for a traditional English pub experience. The Stag ticks all the boxes.
