Established in 1984, the Signal Restaurant has drawn praise from critics, guests and multiple award judges, as well as people from the surrounding area. Its menu focuses on seasonal local Boyne Valley produce and ingredients from other parts of Ireland, cooked with fine dining flair, combined with an extensive wine offering carefully selected by our in-house sommelier.

    The evening begins at 6.30pm with a pre-dinner cocktail or glass of our Prosecco Frizzante. At 7pm you will be brought in to the Signal Restaurant for the seven courses which are carefully curated and prepared by our head chef. It’s an opportunity for us to share our passion for good food and fine wine – and to show off our pride in the locality. Join us as your tastebuds wander from flavour to flavour and from wine to wine, experiencing combinations that may surprise you – but will not disappoint.

    We felt very welcome from the minute we entered the door seated promptly. Loved the comfortable atmosphere of the bar n surroundings. The service from start to finish was topclasss a very rare occurrence in hospitality industry recent years. Food was delicious all 3 courses .

    We had a lovely experience at the Station House for my sisters graduation dinner. Food was amazing and servers were so lovely. Our food was very late coming out (which didn’t bother us as we were chatting so much and enjoying good company and wine!) so they comped all 6 of our desserts. Completely unnecessary but it was a lovely gesture!

    Very nice 3 course lunch to celebrate 1 year anniversary - only real issue was my duck main was over cooked and slightly tough. I wasn’t asked how I like my duck cooked when I ordered it but was served well done and was a little dry

    We’ve been twice in the last few weeks and each time had a great experience. The food was top class as was the service and it’s such a lovely building in tranquil surrounds.

    Had a lovely relaxing meal at The Station House. Staff were very attentive especially Erica who looked after us. Food and wine delicious. Restaurant was full but tables are so well spaced that it never felt like it was busy. We then moved to the bar for drinks after. Very relaxing experience overall. Will go back again during summer to enjoy the outdoor seating area outside bar. Beautiful venue for a wedding

    Excellent service from start to finish very friendly staff and attention to detail recommendations from waiters was very helpful. Overall it couldn’t be better 👍

    Wonderful friendly welcome from all the staff. Lovely atmosphere in the dining room very pleasant staff cheerfully and helpful. A big compliment to the manager Alex and Tabas so helpfull and attentive. Food and presentation excellent the Roast Potatoes the best I've ever tasted in a hotel. Excellent experience we will be back.

    We've eaten in the platform bar many times and have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent, tasty and good value. The staff are always so friendly and the ambience is beautiful. Always happy to recommend and return.

    My wife and I (in our mid 50s) booked the restaurant to celebrate a wedding anniversary. We arrived ahead of schedule and were accomodated in a lovely friendly manner in the bar. All the staff have been well tutored in customer care and they each make it a very comfortable, pleasant experience. It was our first time at The Station House but we have already spoken of returning. The food was exceptional and the care from the attending lady was excellent and attentive while affording us the time as a couple to interact and hold a proper conversation. Truly lovely experiance and we’ll be back.
