The Statler is an American Bistro and Cocktail Bar nestled into the heart of Downtown Detroit's Entertainment District. The Statler offers classic cuisine with a slightly modern twist, catering to both adventurous and traditional diners alike. Our menu was created by Certified Master Chef Daniel Scannell, modeling a French Bistro. The Statler delivers a world class Gastro and Mixology Bar and Formal Dining Room Experiences. Enjoy a Smoked Old Fashioned with Suntory Japanese Whiskey and Crispy Calamari, and Friends during Happy Hour, then a Bottle of Faust Cabernet Sauvignon with Braised Short Ribs and Family in our Dining Room. The Statler is within walking distance from venues like Comerica Park, Ford Field, Detroit Opera House, Fox Theatre, Little Caesar’s Arena, and more. The Statler offers FREE PARKING for 3 hours while dining in the restaurant which is located underground and inside (call for instructions or ask the Valet attendant for directions).

Service was soooooo slow. The food was amazing! Went for brunch but got our food BEFORE our cocktails 😕

Had 7pm reservations, arrived at 657 for them. Was seated at 730. Service was friendly, but SLOW. Food was okay, one of the mushrooms in the lions mane steak was completely raw, versus the rest which were cooked straight through. Thought it was pretty lame that the duck was served alacarte, for 40 you could at least throw some potatoes and veggies on the plate. Cocktails were good. Atmosphere was good.

The restaurant was beautiful. Service was amazing. However we did go with another couple and the restaurant wouldn’t split our bill. They said it was policy to have the check all on one. I guess this seemed odd to me.

Restaurant was very nice at first, service was very attentive for the first 15 minutes. Our server seemingly forgot she had our table to serve and we did not see her for almost the entire night. I could see her joking and making small talk with another table while we sat there waiting to see if she'd ever bring us the dessert cart for viewing. all in all, the food was good but service was absolutely horrific. probably will not return.

Food was amazing. Parking in the underground lot with free validation was lovely. My 50 year old ears thought the music played was ok. My 20 year old daughter liked that it wasn’t “stuffy.”

Loved our experience at Statler! It was my birthday and our server took great care of us. I love the ambiance of the restaurant, very comfortable and a great place for an exceptional experience. Food was very good. We tried the lamb meatballs and my boyfriend loved the burger. We for sure will be back, the brunch menu looks amazing!

The location is magic. The French Fries were underdone. They should be brown and crispy. These were starchy and almost white.

Dishes were essentially unsalted and no salt at the table. A little salt would have improved a bland escargot dish and my duck and a signature potato dish. The salad was excellent as was the pasta ragout. Escargot was below average. O Salted butter was nice, paradoxically perhaps a little over salted. The wine list is very thoughtful and nice. The ambiance is beautiful and the room has warmth and elegance without pretense. Our server was really friendly and on top of the game. The valet was disappointing, as a single person was responsible for the entire gig. We waited a very long time for our car and were nearly late for the symphony. ur duck was overcooked and at best average.
