   The Steak Out is - by far - our favorite place to spend a great evening. The atmosphere is welcoming, the people and service are exceptional and the mesquite grilled steaks are superior to anything we’ve ever tried before. It’s everything that’s great about southern Arizona in one place.

   Filet was a little thin compared to last week,,,,and somewhat overcooked, Apparently a wedding rehearsal was taking place and staffing and service was consumed by that,,,,thus slower service,,,,overall a good experience,

   Great casual dining, live music, steak and burger were really good! Love the margaritas too.

   Food was great. Server, Toni, not so much. She was rude, snide, and put out. When my Sister inquired about which size steak to order (sizes not listed.), it was met with “How do I know how much you eat??” ,” How am I supposed to know what fills you up??” In a VERY snide tone. NOT the answer to give paying customers who travelled over 100 miles round trip to eat at your restaurant. The attitude continued throughout the meal. The food was GREAT as usual, but I refuse to ignore the manner in which we were treated. I have been to your establishment some 20 or more times the past 4 years, and this has made me rethink the drive. The redeeming fact remains that this was the FIRST time we experienced poor service. The rest of your staff is top notch. Toni on the other hand, I will not be subjected to her ever again, as this was more than likely our LAST trip to the Steak Out.

   Hi James, We are truly sorry to hear of your experience with your server. We have discussed your feedback with her and used this an opportunity to improve her service in the future. Toni has been with us for over 40 years. She actually does all of our in house meat cutting - so she is the expert on our beef choices. We are very sorry she was not able to answer your questions better. So glad you enjoyed your meal and we hope to see you again.

   This rustic country restaurant is just plain good! The Filet is to die for , maybe the best I have ever had,,,,,,,, If you want a 39 dollar steak that is out of this world great ,,,,go to Sonoita 's Stakeout

   Excellent Steaks. Prime rib is so good, they sell out fast. Good live music on weekends

   Excellent food and service. Great country/western atmosphere . The steaks are outstanding and the Burgers are very good. It is fun to see local friends and the live western music make Friday evening fun.

   Porterhouse steak was huge and perfectly done. Sides were skimpy but good service was very prompt and personalized
