Arizona's Original Steakhouse.

Step through the copper entry doors and feel the warm authentic atmosphere of this classic American Steakhouse. Once adjacent to the largest feedlot in the world, the restaurant is a living history museum that documents Arizona's cattle industry with historical photos and a Western Art collection. Established in 1947, The Stockyards has been serving the best hand-cut aged steaks and prime rib for 70 years. The menu also features wild game, seafood, poultry, pork, and a wide variety of appetizers, salads and desserts. Be sure to visit the 1889 Saloon where you will find a solid mahogany hand carved bar, crystal chandeliers, and walls adorned with original murals that were painted in the 50's. Step back in time and relax while you enjoy an Arizona landmark. Banquet space and private dining rooms are available, and The Stockyards is always an excellent choice for groups.

Elk medallions were amazing! Their house made biscuits and green chili cornbread were awesome too! Our server was so nice and very knowledgeable. We will be back!

I was overwhelmed by the ambiance, cleanliness, food and Customer Service. Been coming to AZ for 20 years and this is my first but not last visit to this fantastic restaurant.

Our first visit to the Stockyards was amazing. The staff from the reception desk all the way through everyone in the dining room was excellent. They were friendly, attentive and responsive. The waitress explained not only the menu items but the history of the restaurant. Our food came exactly as requested and several people paused periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this for a special meal or just because you want great food and service together!

Our first visit, the restaurant was quite loud throughout our visit. The food was average, the ribeye steak lacked seasoning, cornbread muffins and biscuits were a bit dry. The Caesar salad was the best food item it was fresh and definitely a homemade dressing. Our server was very good and provided a nice experience. Probably won’t return as the food and ambiance was not quite up to the prices charged.

Stockyards was great. The service and ambience was excellent. The Fish and Chips was delicious, this is only served on Friday. The Classic Prime Rib Dip Sandwich was also delicious. Overall Excellent and Delicious Lunch!

This was our first visit. Six of us all enjoyed the setting, food and service. What fun to enjoy such a historic restaurant! We will be back.
