Arizona's Original Steakhouse.

Step through the copper entry doors and feel the warm authentic atmosphere of this classic American Steakhouse. Once adjacent to the largest feedlot in the world, the restaurant is a living history museum that documents Arizona's cattle industry with historical photos and a Western Art collection. Established in 1947, The Stockyards has been serving the best hand-cut aged steaks and prime rib for 70 years. The menu also features wild game, seafood, poultry, pork, and a wide variety of appetizers, salads and desserts. Be sure to visit the 1889 Saloon where you will find a solid mahogany hand carved bar, crystal chandeliers, and walls adorned with original murals that were painted in the 50's. Step back in time and relax while you enjoy an Arizona landmark. Banquet space and private dining rooms are available, and The Stockyards is always an excellent choice for groups.

We started at the Bar. Beautiful hand carved bar and murals. Our bartender Kevin was very attentive and a master mixologists delicuos drinks. Then we’re seated for dinner. Our server Alice. Was attentive and friendly. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and a must try are the Parmesan potatoes. And to cap off a perfect meal the bread pudding was stellar. This is a must go to place of your in Scottsdale

Is the first time we visited this restaurant and we were extremely satisfied with both the service and the quality of food. We shared a 12 ounce fillet along with starting off with the wedge salad which was excellent. We look forward to dining here again in the future.

This place is superb! I’ve been coming here since 1975. In 2025 it’s as good or better than it was in 1975. Service is always exceptional. Menu emphasizes but in no way is limited to beef. Some very interesting items Grace the menu. Yes, Stockyards is pricey…but you definitely get what you pay for.

The food was great and so was the service! Love it and would come back. We put on our reservation we are celebrating a birthday and had to remind the restaurant so that was a little frustrating but overall great.

Our server Alice was terrific. Biscuit with honey butter was delicious. Bourbon shrimp with bacon appetizer was excellent. 5 oz filet and scallops were very good. Garlic mashed were underwhelming. Broccolini was first served cold, and second batch brought out was undercooked.

stockyards is so underrated, our second time here and once again a home run! I had the Delmonico it was perfectly seasoned, wife had the wagyu and it was amazing! Was surprised at how good the pea soup was.

Date night with the wife. The steaks were perfect and their scallops potatoes were outstanding. Last time I was there was 27 years ago, I love the new look. Very old school and very classy. We are putting it in our rotation.
