   Service was terrific. Local Millbrook Winery and their Pino Noir was on the menu and was a perfect match to the risotto dish on the menu. True, this restaurant is in the lobby area of the hotel, but the ambiance seems to work. We eat at a table as it was a quiet Wednesday evening. However the bar area looked inviting as well.

   Lovely romantic table for two with amazing food. This will conitnue to be a date night favorite.

   The Storyteller Restaurant is beautiful, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. It is important to call front desk to inquire about activities happening at the Inn during your dining hours. It can be a quiet and lovely, or a bit chaotic, depending on what’s going on at Bellefield Inn.

   Excellent food with limited but creative menu. Not high on ambiance as tables are in lobby of hotel. A screen wall and some plants would go a long way to create an intimate dining area

   Loved the entire meal, ambiance and service! It is a little off-putting that they are in the hotel lobby, but there was a beautiful fireplace and the finishes from the menu to the booth leather were beautiful. Our waiter Matt was very attentive and enthusiastic. I have recommended The Storyteller to several people already!!!

   Restaurant is in the lobby of hotel. No obvious place to check in for our reservation - we were told by front desk to check in at bar. Ignored by busy staff for 5 minutes, and then just told to sit anywhere. Took 30 minutes to get a drink and order placed. They appeared to be understaffed and with poorly managed workflows.

   What an absolutely amazing atmosphere! The food was out of this world as well as the drinks. The server and bartender were both phenomenal and contributed to a wonderful experience.

   What a terrific addition to the mid hudson/Poughkeepsie scene! The fine touches, like story book menus & space to continue the story... terrific! Locally sourced vegetables and grass fed beef make this a rarity: gourmet in a hotel restaurant. Our server was terrific and the cocktails aren't to be missed.

    Waitress first day on the job, overall OK - but she got my order wrong twice - once the wrong meal, then the wrong prep. She was pleasant and they didn’t charge me for the meal I didn’t eat, they also comped the drinks…
