The Stravaig a contemporary kitchen & cocktail Bar with added function room within the kylestrome hotel. Serving up fresh local Scottish cuisine. In the heart of ayr town centre and private parking. With our cosy bar (the cookie) and restaurant wether it be for food or a cocktail in hand with friends we are here to provide you with top service for any occasion. Beer garden to front and to back for those summer days events. We also have an 80-100 capacity function room with bar for hire.

    First time trying the Stravaig & it was amazing. The decor is outstanding. We had drinks in the bar before dinner & had an amazing selection. We then had a two course meal & absolutely loved every bit of it! The staff were incredibly friendly & couldn’t have done more to make it an amazing night! Great value for money & will definitely be back! Will be recommending family & friends to give it a try!

    It was ok, not memorable but was a nice enough meal. Toilets were not very clean and hand dryer not working

    Another lovely meal tonight. Food was excellent, service second to none and lovely atmosphere with the Piano Man serenading the diners.

    A very enjoyable meal, good choice range on menus and food was well cooked and attractively presented. Service was friendly and efficient, pleasant atmosphere. We dined early before going to the cinema so Stravaig was conveniently situated with plenty of parking. Very enjoyable evening.

    very accommodating for our birthday celebrations. Great food and great service, Staff were very helpful.

    Really nice restaurant and good atmosphere. The waiter we had couldn’t have been better. The food was good but just didn’t blow me away. I would go back.
