We are a 17th century country pub with rooms. Located in the pretty village of Felmersham, in Bedfordshire - North from London. Come and feel part of our community and experience the best produce Bedfordshire and beyond has to offer.
Much care and expertise goes into developing our menus; championing the best produce the local area has to offer. Our chefs are dedicated to supporting local producers and artisan makers; embracing the bounty of the surrounding countryside.

    Lovely candlelit dining room with rustic charm and great food. Not pretentious they just doing everything really well for people that like good food and drink. The evening farmers menu was really good. It’s not often you come away from a restaurant these days where you cannot fault a thing. Just about to rebook for Sunday lunch :) Absolutely spot on.

    Very generous portions and extremely tasty Sunday lunch - our first time and it certainly won’t be our last. Great that a portion of cauliflower cheese comes as standard and not at an additional cost like many other pubs! Thanks to all the team.

    We had the best time, food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back when we are in the area again.

    Great Sunday roast. Starters were amazing also. Portions sizes were generous and local food produce! Service was good. Only negative would be lack of steak knife with roast beef.

    We have just moved to the area, and were recommended The Sun Inn. We booked a table on a Friday evening, not actually looking at the menu, and what to expect. Well… firstly the staff, so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We ate in the dining area which is lovely, great ambience, the bar was buzzing! The food was BEAUTIFUL, we had the tasting menu and it was AMAZING all local seasonable produce, what talented Chefs. We’ll definitely be back for their Sunday lunch which we believe is one of the best in the UK!!!

    Fantastic award-winning Sunday roast, left completely stuffed! Cannot fault it, great value, locally sourced, fantastic quality, great service!
