Our server was amazing, the music was nice and food and drinks were delicious. We were a bit bummed to be inside in the back when we had booked for the balcony, but it was closed that night due to staffing issues. We will try again, and hope to eat outside

Abundant portions, tasty fare, attentive service -- a fine meal for a good price! Will definitely return to this restaurant when our travels take us back to the Gold Country.

Service was great. The staff were very professional and attentive. Drinks were just ok and the steak was over cooked. Prices were fair. I would go back but try a different dish as the NY steak ordered was over cooked and the quality of the steak seemed mid grade at best. Staff made it all worth the experience.

Always a great experience. The wait staff is friendly and efficient, the food fantastic, and when seated on the balcony it's enjoyable to watch the goings-on below.

We love going to The Sutter Restaurant for special family occasions, and we also bring our out-of-town visitors there to create special memories. The food, service, and ambiance never fail to delight!
