Established in 1985, and located on Raglan Street, just off Princess Square in the heart of Harrogate, The Tannin Level is one of Harrogate's best loved and most renowned restaurants. Known for its wines (its name is a wine term after all!) as well as its food, it has garnered an enviable reputation amongst the towns sophisticated 'foodies'. The Tannin Level has a certain style and an unmistakable elegance, and its many original features combine to create the unique Tannin Level ambience.
The food is modern British with a Tannin Level twist, utilising only the very best seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. As you might expect, all our food is freshly prepared by our chefs, which also means that if you have any special requirements, we can usually oblige. Lovely restaurant, food was good but would of liked more choice in starters and desserts.. But it was a Sunday Menu,so I think it was a reduced menu... The only criticism I have is food served on wooden boards,it's just messy,plates are always preffered.. Our waitress Sienna was extremely helpful,and very polite nothing was too much trouble.. Overall a lovely experience and we will be back... Thanks Tannin Level...

Food and service fantastic. We had a table next to the door but there was an electric fan heater to stop us feeling the cold from affecting our evening.

Phenomenal meal , great staff with a slight issue with our main taking quite a bit longer than everyone else's. Will definitely be back - i think we just chose a bit of a busier night than normal ( Valentines Night ).

Very enjoyable roast beef lunch followed by delicious sticky toffee pudding. Excellent service and good value for money.

Exceptional food and service, would highly recommend the wonderful scallops to start, chicken breast for main which was incredible, and sticky toffee pudding for desert. Would have liked to sit in the back where there seemed to be a better atmosphere (we were in the front by the door), but we'll know for next time, as we'll definitely be back!
