                                                                          The Tobacco Company is always a treat. The food was excellent of course. The service was equally good and our table was lovely. My only comment is about the music. The speaker was located right above our corner booth and we found the noise level obtrusive. We asked the waiter if he could lower it and it seemed to improve a bit but was still too loud for easy conversation. Our other comment is about the music selection. "Classic Rock" doesn't seem to go with the restaurant. Have you considered unobtrusive Jazz such as the early Miles Davis? Overall though, The Tobacco Company is one of the gems of Richmond and always enjoyable.

                                                                          My cousins and I have traveled to Richmond twice and eaten here. Each of our meals were delicious. The wait staff was friendly and great service.

                                                                          This was our first visit to The Tobacco Company Restaurant, my husband and I, as we were in town for a show. I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly hostess and quickly seated. The architecture and interior design of the building were captivating, especially from our wonderful spot on the second-floor balcony. Our waitress, Savannah, was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout our meal. I ordered the seabass, while my husband chose the scallops. For dessert, we shared a slice of cheesecake. Everything was absolutely superb!
