Executive Chef Jon Simoneau has developed a menu that features fresh, sustainable raised Colorado beef for quality steak selections and a range of New American dishes that can be enjoyed. We also have a full cocktail bar and carefully curated an extensive selection of wines that is approachable and newcomers and connoisseurs alike.

We are located adjacent to Union Station on the corner of 15th & Wynkoop. Our focus is on consistently good food without the frills and fuss of haute cuisine but delivering on 5-star service.

The food was delicious and inventive. Our waitress was very attentive and spot on about what to expect with the menu choices. Only downside is the noise level of the music which just makes everyone talk louder so it is very hard to have a pleasant normal conversation across the table. Given the noise it outweighs the positives of the service and food.

Highly recommend! I traveled from the Philly area to visit my daughter and found the Velvet Cellar online. Everything was absolutely delicious, from the drinks and appetizers to the entrees. The crème brûlée was outstanding, and our server, Courtney, provided great recommendations and exceptional service. We left full and completely satisfied. Well done!

My wife and I spent our anniversary here and it met any and every standard. Food was great and the service was amazing. I highly recommend this establishment for any romantic evening away with your loved one.

NY strip was mediocre at best even with the peppercorn sauce. Fries way over salted. Brussel sprouts were the worst she has had - not fresh. She did like the shrimp and grits.

Service was very, very, very slow for both drinks and food which kind of soured the night. Menu had Many GFO options which was appreciated- Meatball app was good, but Burrata app was not great- way too chilled. Steak was average, salmon was good.

Our overall first time visiting the Velvet Cellar was wonderful! Courtney really made our experience fun and she never stirred us wrong in all of our selections. Her personality and customer service were spot on which made our night alot of fun! We will definitely come back and refer this place to our family and friends! Thank you, Courtney!

The staff is always kind and engaging, they know what they’re talking about when it comes to wine too. I come for the lollipop chicken wings, they’re incredible
