Executive Chef Jon Simoneau has developed a menu that features fresh, sustainable raised Colorado beef for quality steak selections and a range of New American dishes that can be enjoyed. We also have a full cocktail bar and carefully curated an extensive selection of wines that is approachable and newcomers and connoisseurs alike.

We are located adjacent to Union Station on the corner of 15th & Wynkoop. Our focus is on consistently good food without the frills and fuss of haute cuisine but delivering on 5-star service.

                              Our overall first time visiting the Velvet Cellar was wonderful! Courtney really made our experience fun and she never stirred us wrong in all of our selections. Her personality and customer service were spot on which made our night alot of fun! We will definitely come back and refer this place to our family and friends! Thank you, Courtney!

                              The staff is always kind and engaging, they know what they’re talking about when it comes to wine too. I come for the lollipop chicken wings, they’re incredible

                              The service was fine. The salmon was bland and over cooked. And when we requested to have the dish split the waitress said they couldn’t split it. Seriously? You can’t cut a piece of fish in half? She just shut us down immediately. We requested a couple of plates for our dinner, that we split ourselves, and they brought two little appetizer plates. Not a great experience for sure.

                              We were visiting Denver for a girls trip and this restaurant popped up on a 'top list'... and it DID NOT disappoint! Food and service was amazing!

                              Epic happy hour. Best sliders in Denver! Staff were super friendly and service was on point even when they got busy. Highly recommend for pregaming events at Ball Arena!

                              Great food, service was amazing but it was incredibly smoky and we left smelling like the restaurant. Overall good place but the smoke and smells were way to much.
