Welcome to The Victoria Hotel, Woodend! We offer a friendly and generous service at The Victoria where we value your visit as much as we value sourcing and preparing quality food and drinks. We love local! The Victoria’s menus reflect our regional bias, and deliver delicious meals whatever your particular tastes or dietary requirements. Enjoy our double sided fire places or in the warmer months our dog friendly blue-stone courtyard!

The bistro menu features a staple of great steaks, parmas, schnitzel, burgers, pizzas and a barramundi fish and chips, plus many daily specials a list of eight to 10 house-made desserts, as well as a nutritious $14 menu for under-12s. Every day, we offer at least 4 vegetarian options and vegan dishes. Our wine lists boasting over 70% regional wines from our cool climate vineyards within the Macedon Ranges and surrounds.

Let us look after you and your family. This will be the 7th year of us celebrating Christmas day lunch at the Victoria Hotel Woodend! 3 course menu will be released on 1 June 2024 Adults $160 per person Children $60 per person (aged 12 and under) Bookings and pre-payment essential. Whilst our meals were quite enjoyable, we were disappointed with the arrival of cold coffees and very strong tea, well after they had been ordered. Each of us had an entree sized meal, plus a drink, and 3 had coffee or tea. We were all disappointed with the cost of the meal and drinks , all eat out often and found it very expensive

Great Food and Staff....but, the size of the room and the high ceilings make for a noisy environment. However, overall, a great venue and the style of the dining area is amazing.

Service was no problem. Was able to order from a staff member from my table. Food was average. I had the burger. Bun was very dry. Onions were burnt. Very bland in flavour. Unsure if I would go back again

The reception was excellent upon arriving . Our seating outside under the shady trees also was great and our food coming out on hot plates was a sign of excellence which was also backed up by the staff

This is a very homey country style pub with exposed timber beams and warm brick walls to suit. They offer the traditional pub choices plus some surprises for those looking for more. Our table enjoyed the house-made snitzels and a chickpea curry. Serves were generous and the food was delicious. This pub will give you a guaranteed welcome and a great evening all around. We enjoyed the Heathcote Shiraz by Hanging Rock Winery.

The Victoria at Woodend is an unexpected gem, a country pub with a reasonably broad menu and really good food. At 6.30pm on a Saturday it was busy; some sort of celebration going on upstairs kept the staff busy. Families with kids and pensioners like us all got a good level of service from friendly and helpful staff. Besides their range of pizzas they had “standard” pub fare - schnitzels and burgers but we chose the Victoria pub pie (beef & veg) and the Seafood pie. Both were delightful and ample. Guinness is on tap, which is reason enough for me to visit again but the wine list was also reasonably comprehensive and included many local wines. We will go again.
