Set high on a hilltop with breathtaking panoramic views of the Monterey Bay, The View Restaurant & Bar at Chaminade offers a unique dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the naturally beautiful scenery which compliments the contemporary California Cuisine. Whether it’s sustainable seafood or locally grown produce, The View emphasizes natural ingredients while providing four-diamond service. A 4% surcharge will be added to all guest checks to help cover increases in labor costs and to support a higher minimum wage.

***Please note that our kitchen closes from 1:30pm-2:00pm to prepare for dinner service. Our bar and restaurant remain open during that time, offering a fine selection of local wines, craft beers, signature cocktails, and non-alcoholic refreshments to enjoy.

Came here for my mom’s birthday dinner. The restaurant has nice ambience and good energy, good service, but really expensive food for what we got. My husband ordered the short ribs with risotto , and they were mostly fat so he only got a few bites of lean meat, and the risotto was very soupy, he only took a few bites of that too. I was happy with my salad but the chicken was a little dry. A good experience overall , but the food quality didn’t reflect the price we paid.

I eat gluten free and had the best gf sesame hamburger bun at dinner and French toast for breakfast. No issues with cross contamination either. The bread was light and fluffy and held together well. My server, Ira, did an excellent job of taking care of me.

Overall good, not great. Food was good but overpriced for what you get. Ordered ahi appetizer, shrimp fettuccine and butternut squash ravioli. No view to see since it was at dinner. Went for birthday and notated on reservation but got no mention of it while there.

Staff service couldn’t have been nicer and the food and drinks were delicious. So happy we decided to have dinner at the hotel our first night.

they took a little while to bring out the food , we waited about an hour but we did come on a saturday night. it was a bit confusing trying to find the restaurant but we managed. we got a complimentary dessert for celebrating our anniversary :)

Went for early dinner , took advantage of happy hour menu. Very good , service excellent. I had the fried chicken sandwich, my wife loves the fish & chips. All very good. Love the chaminade.

Beautiful setting out on the veranda, gorgeous view and sunset while having dinner. Just loved it! And the food was absolutely delicious.

Our server was so patient and kind and helped make sure everything brought to the table was prepared with allergy protocols. It was a lovely dinner.
