    Food was superb. Servers attentive. Patrons allowed their toddlers to run about. We found this to be distracting. We enjoy kids, and they were very cute but if we are dropping $600 for dinner for 2, we prefer less chaos.

    The village pub had a New Year day brunch with a prix fixe menu of 3 courses. For each part of the menu there were many choices. The dishes were excellent. The burrata salad was amazing with the most delicious and delicate burrata. This was a great lunch to begin the new year for a good price!

    We had a reservation for 6 for New Year's brunch but had to wait 15 minutes for our table to be available. The filet was cold. Service was average. Food was by no means a 1 Michelin star quality. Again we had to wait a long time for someone to take our credit card after they brought us the bill (I actually had to waive one of the waiters who was not ours to come and take the credit card.

    We come here a few times a year. Service is always great! Food used to be much better...not sure what happened.

    As usual the menu was nicely put together. The pear salad was great, and the bass was cook to perfection. The chocolate mousse was tart and not too sweet. We were blown away by the passion fruit cinnamon roll.

    Lovely table and ambiance. Well trained staff. Very knowledgeable sommelier. The duck was too rare, but was up cooked. We had to serve our own water and champagne. The champagne was not put to cool. Appetizers and desserts were fantastic. Main courses good but not at the level we expected.
