Very nice. Always great service. I know all the servers well. I’ve been a regular patron since the day they opened. Many years. I return for a reason.

We’ve eaten here a couple other times and enjoyed it so I thought booking the New Year’s Eve Prix Fixe meal would be great. First they tried to tell me I hadn’t requested a table inside so we would have to sit on the patio - even though I had booked a 6 weeks in advance and it was 50 degrees outside. After I complained they did seat us inside. After that we ordered dinner and a couple of glasses of wine. The wine came right away but we waited over an hour for any food at all. All other tables around us were also waiting that long. They finally brought our starter course out and came immediately with our main entree - literally 1 minute after. We declined the entree and asked to wait until after the starter. The waiter said they would remake it but when it came back out it was clear that it had just been sitting under a warming lamp. The waiter then put our check on the table “to be proactive” before we even got our dessert. The whole thing was a mess. For $250 I expect better service. Skip this place on New Year’s Eve. That being said, the food was very delicious but not well plated.

Staff are very polite and helpful. The dishes are tasty. The wine recommended by the waiter was excellent.

Matthew at the bar was awesome! What a great guy. My husband and I just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary, we had not been to the VR in a few years, it’s always so pretty inside and out at this time of year. Matthew was really knowledgeable about the wines. We appreciated his attentiveness to go above and beyond, though so busy.

The food and service were great. The only thing lacking was the charcuterie. We ate it all but it was low on meat. Everything was good but is needed a tad more meat to cheese ratio.
