The White Horse in Churton, the very first pub from Elite Bistros, the award winning team behind, Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish, Pinon and Kala.

You'll find a warm welcome, a great range of beers and well stocked bar plus all the fantastic food you have come to expect from Elite Bistros. Our toasty open fires are perfect to while away the hours with the newspapers or when the sun shines you can enjoy our terrace and beer garden.

Our kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12.00-8.00pm Mon-Thurs, 12.00-9.00pm Fri-Sat and 12.00-7.30pm on Sundays.

Amazing food, big portions. Staff really friendly and accommodated my Dad who couldn’t walk well and mum who has dementia. 10/10.

Arrived to a warm welcome and lovely cosy feeling with an open fire. Shown to our table in a nice part of the pub, quiet and private. Offered our welcome drinks and starters. Food was nicely presented. A small issue for me was the lack of vegetables, could have done with more. We had to return our desserts as arrived Luke warm. Derive towards the end of our meal petered off. Not offered another round of drinks and no one asked if we were enjoying our meals and I put this down to our booking being the end of the day and staff wanting to knock off. Overall a nice Christmas lunch but would I do it again next year possibly not

Ok this was a special occasion as it was Christmas Day. We had preordered as you would expect, everything arrived just as we had ordered, without either of us querying anything e.g. one of us had a dietary “issue” which they knew about prior to the day and everything happened without an issue or fuss. The pre meal drink (which we had preordered) was delicious and every course was fabulous. Thought the takeaway Eccles cake was a great idea. Yes we are fans of the white horse and once again they did not disappoint

Nice place good country pub… not cheap but ok value. The food is very pleasant…not brilliant but ok and somewhat creative. It’s half way between a cool place to eat and an average pub…. It’s worth a try…for a family gathering .

Lovely food and outstanding service. Extremely helpful waiting staff for our table who gave really useful feedback on the dishes I was undecided between .

We had an excellent lunchtime meal here today. All of the food was excellent, with good portion sizes and it was really good value (there is a 2 course offer in the afternoon). The staff were all really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and the pub itself is really nice and has a good atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again and would absolutely recommend it for good quality pub food, done really well, in a nice environment with great staff.

A pleasant experience on a miserable night, nice log fires, gave a nice welcoming feel, food was pretty good, " Probably the best Fish and Chips I've had" said my wife, and she's had quite a few over the years, The portion sizes were a bit on the small size, and the desserts were a bit of a disappointment, she had the mintchoc ice cream with something on top which had a bitter burnt taste and the ice cream was overwhelmed by the intense chocolate. I had the Xmas pudding but yet again all I could taste was the marmalade, very busy place considering it's a bit out of the way,and couldn't fault the service
